1 Corinthians 15:13-20

13 If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. 14 And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith. 15 More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead. But he did not raise him if in fact the dead are not raised. 16 For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. 17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. 18 Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. 19 If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.
20 But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.

I love reading scripture because even though these passages were written thousands of years ago; they are still relevant in our lives today. Paul reminds the people of Corinth, if they don’t believe people can be changed or resurrected, then their faith is useless. Why? Because without resurrection, there’s no Gospel.

Jesus works in the lives of everyone, always. I didn’t know Jesus for eighteen years of my life. I knew a little about Him or had heard things, but I had no relationship. Once I started following Jesus was when my life changed forever. I’ll tell you what, following Jesus has not been the easiest journey, but man it’s been more than worth it.

Jesus gives us such a depth to our lives. He takes us places we have never been. He gives us experiences and moments some never feel. I want this for everyone I know. I want others to fill the hole, the emptiness, the sadness in their hearts with this awesome and perfect dude named Jesus.

No matter how far someone may seem from Jesus, always remember God is working in their life. God might be using you to bring someone closer to Him. How cool is that?!

Are you loving people who don’t follow Jesus?

Who do you need to start loving more?

Have a great day!
