8 Each of these living beings had six wings, and their wings were covered all over with eyes, inside and out. Day after day and night after night they keep on saying,
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty—
the one who always was, who is, and who is still to come.”
Here’s the scoop. I just wrote an entire blog on this verse and it didn’t save. So I am going to look at the positive; this will be an even better version, hopefully. Side note. I was driving home today to do this blog and heard God whisper something to me.
Yes, it’s a goal of mine to do one every day, but I don’t want to just check the box. God helped remind me why I am doing this; to grow closer to Jesus and encourage you all. With that said, lets dive into todays verse. I want to specifically focus on the bottom section. It ends with a beautiful image of Jesus.
Jesus is consistent. He is perfect. He lived a perfect life, died a perfect death, and now sits perfectly in Heaven. Jesus is who He says He is. He is never changing. His love for us will also never change. It will always be there. He will always be there.
We are continually growing people. Physically, mentally, and so on. We should grow. It is good for us. But, this makes it hard for us to imagine someone who doesn’t change and is still awesome. Guess what? That person is Jesus. If you haven’t already, give Him a try. I promise He won’t let you down.
Do I truly know Jesus?
How can I begin to understand who Jesus really is?
Dear Lord, thank you for your faithful consistency. I pray we just rest in who You are and trust in who You are. Thank you Jesus for all you do for us. Amen.
Have a great week!
